Abstract
The paper presents a technique and some results of experimental study of the way hemispherical samples made of retarded HMX response to mechanical effect of steel impactor at impact velocities Vimp = 55-75 m/s. In the experiments, a radio- interferometer was used to record the process of impactor penetration into an HE sample.
