| A review of some recent results of the author on the development of a method, based on the reciprocity principle, for defect identification in an isotropic linear elastic body is presented. In particular, an analytical solution of the problem of an ellipsoidal defect (a cavity or an inclusion) identification using the results of one uniaxial tension (compression) static test is given. |
