The paper presents the results on determining the pressure distribution inside micro-channels of a round cross-section but of different (rectilinear and curvilinear) forms. The channel diameter in both the cases was 68.9 mm. Both water and gas (helium and nitrogen) were used in the experiments. Based on the measurements of the pressure distribution inside the microchannels, hydraulic resistance factors of the microchannels were computed. The experimental results are compared with the computations made using the Fluent software package.
