The results of researching a wide class of prestressed structurally inhomogeneous bodies with complex physical and mechanical properties were considered. An approach is applied that allows using not only exponential relations, but also monotonous and nonmonotonic ones. The latter allows considering strongly graded media with properties continuously changing through the depth and modeling media with «high-speed» or «low-speed» inclusions. Distribution of SH-waves on the surface of layered piezoactive media is investigated; the effect of the weak inhomogeneity associated with the change of dielectric parameters of piezoactive media and its properties on the characteristics of surface waves and structure of the surface wave field are studied.
