Abstract
The results of systematical experimental studying of the behavior of drops of different liquids are presented for two kinds of high gradient flows: supersonic jets and incident shock waves. The investigation was carried out using modern hardware of optical methods including PIV, the laser knife method, shadow visualization and high velocity impact filming with the picture frequency of 30000 frames per second.
