Methods of thermal protection of the front surface of bodies flown round by a high-temperature gas stream have been tackled in a great number of works, mostly devoted to the research of thermal protection using gas blowing into the boundary layer. It is shown, that continuously distributed blowing, for example through a micro-pores, is most effective. However this way is not reliable because of unpredictability and instability of the hydraulic characteristics of a porous material. Blowing through punched holes is considerably less effective in comparison with the porous blowing. The present paper considers an alternative way of a heat-blowing - by gas injection through a tangential slot.
