Considering the state of a detonation wave (DW) in a chemical spike as an initial condition for the deflagration process behind the shock front of a DW, a formula for a flame velocity as a function of the initial parameters of a combustible mixture is presented. It was found, that the effect of the initial temperature provides the main contribution to the flame velocity, whereas the effect of the pressure is rather weak. |
