The effects of the interstellar magnetic field on the structure of the solar wind/interstellar medium interaction region are studied in the frame of the kinetic-magneto-hydrodynamic model. In particular, the effects of the interstellar magnetic field on the shapes and distances to the heliospheric termination shock and the heliopause as well as in the plasma flow pattern in the heliospheric boundary layer and fluxes of the heliospheric energetic atoms are studied. The present modeling results are compared with data obtained on Voyager-1 и 2, SOHO and Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) spacecraft. |
