A mathematical model of the dynamics of a vertical electromagnetically suspended inhomogeneous rotor of a mega-watt vertical-axis wind power plant has been developed. The model accounts for practically all the known factors that influence the dynamics of a wind rotor. The results of the modeling can be used as a basis for designing and investigating the dynamics of machines of various purposes with electromagnetically suspended or otherwise supported rotors for thermal power engineering, hydro-power engineering, gas transport, space engineering and other fields.
