| The numerical analysis of a blood flow through a healthy and pathologically tortuous bifurcation of human carotid was carried out. Comparative analysis of obtained data shows qualitative influence of carotid bend upon the blood flow behaviour. Pathological tortuosity decreases blood flow through internal carotid and creates favorable conditions for atherogenesis. |
