| A mathematical model has been developed to study the evolution of clusters of gas hydrates in marine sediments during the depositional and compaction history. The results of numerically simulating the accumulation of gas hydrates in porous visco-elastic sediments are presented for the case of more permeable sediments being overlapped by relatively less permeable sediments during the growth of sedimentary layers. |
