The author attempts to reconstruct the rules of endowing Tatar tsars and tsareviches living in Russia in the 16th- 17th centuries with manorial salary and annua. The article covers the succession among the granting rules for the “golden family” regarding manorial and moneyed salary as well as leave benefit and, possibly, incomes from towns on the one side, annua and local salaries on the other. |
