The heat capacity of the third generation poly(phenylene-pyridyl) dendrimer on the basis of tetraphenylmethane decorated with dodecyl groups at the periphery has first been studied over the range from 5 to 475 K by precision adia-batic vacuum calorimetry and differential scanning calorimetry. The dendrimer thermodynamic functionspC o ( Т ),H o (Т ) ? H o (0) , S o (Т ) ? S o (0) , and G o (Т ) ? H o (0) over the range from T I 0 to 475 K and its standard entropy of formation at T = 298.15 K have been calculated based on the experimental data obtained. As it has been shown by the TG-analysis, the dendrimer begins decomposing at a temperature of ~480 K.
