Abstract
Turpentine is a byproduct of forest industry. Its processing into new materials is of considerable interest. The influence of the crystallization temperature regime and the cooling rate of the turpentine hydration products on the yield of terpin hydrate has been studied. Based on the experimental data, the optimum temperature regime and the crystallization time of terpin hydrate have been chosen.
