Abstract
A blast shock wave passage through a barrier of woven wire mesh layers is studied by numerical simulation methods. The basic parameters of the transmitted and reflected shock waves are analyzed. The influence of the barrier on a gas- dynamic flow is estimated by comparing numerical solutions of the problem with and without a permeable barrier. The numerical solution is compared with the experimental data on the parameters of the shock wave passing through the per- meable barrier.
