Abstract
The paper presents the theoretical and methodological principles for psychological monitoring of the educational environment with respect to the criterion of university students' social safety. The monitoring is aimed at identifying security threats and social risk factors. It is also intended to diagnose students' personality traits, which determine the state of the educational environment of the university and the nature of interaction between the subjects of education, and to assess resource capacity of the educational environment for personal development of students.
