Abstract

The authors describe the main stages of inventory design. The psychological test is aimed to diagnose adaptive-innovative cognitive style. The construction procedure includes the test specification, development of assignments, test formatting, analysis of test items, reliability checking, validity control, questionnaire standardization. The proposed inventory is based on M. Kirton's Adaption-Innovation Theory.
