10-, 50-, 100-, 500-, and 1000-fold dilutions of venous serum of healthy women, healthy men and men with coronary heart disease were studied in the experiments with 195 ring segments of the porcine right coronary artery. Human serum provides M-cholineblocking activity that can be explained by the presence of an endogenous non-selective M-cholinoreceptor blocker whose content depends on the gender and the presence of coronary heart disease. |
