Abstract
The dynamics of the data transmission market is studied on the basis of mathematical modeling of the innovation diffusion process. The mathematical model is built assuming that the innovation diffusion is realized within competitive interaction between two successive generations of a new technology and in this way it is based on the Gilpin-Ayala competition model for the dynamics of interaction between two biological populations.
