| Chastushka of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (Oka - Volga - Sura interfluve) is the focus of the author's re- search, lexical peculiarities being the key issue of the paper. Special attention is paid to words with historical back- ground and cultural significance which are found in the peripheral layers of the lexical system. |
