| This article deals with the professional vocabulary of Arkhangelsk medical workers in terms of thematic links and sources of formation. The main sources of the replenishment of medical professional slang are from lexical- semantic derivation and suffixation. Analysis of the lexicon of this social dialect shows that expressive professional slang words dominate. |
