| The paper studies the influence of the antique novel «Aithiopica« by Heliodor on the medieval novels of the XVI- XVII centuries in Spanish, Italian and French literature. The process of weakening of their similarity to the an- tique Greek prototype was accompanied by the growth of psychological features in them. |
