Abstract
It was established in primary hippocampal cultures that network responses caused by electrical stimulation have synaptic and non-synaptic origins. The efficiency of network response induction has been shown to depend on the spatial location of the neural network stimulation area. It has been found that the efficiency of the network pulse burst generation in response to the electrical simulation from different inputs is equally stable within an hour and within several days, which testifies to the stable functional organization of the neural network.
