Three main features are taken as a basis for classification of crown elements: merithallus length, element age and branching. There are six types of the basic variants of elements in the crown of Salix rosmarinifolia L. A certain set of elements of the crown is typical for each age. A comparison is made between the elements of the crown of Salix rosmarinifolia L. and boreal willow species studied earlier. |
