| This article presents an analysis of the land tenure system and agriculture of non-Russian population in the Kazan uyezd of Muscovy in the second half of the 16th - early 17th century. The author points out some peculiarities of land tenure of the indigenous population of the Middle Volga area. A review of land tenure of non-Russians allows us to trace the influence of the political and military crisis on the region's economy. |
