| The basis of the Serbian church singing in the Church Slavonic language is Osmoglasnik by S. Mokranjac. N. Resanovic has edited these tunes and adapted them to the English text. As a result, the language has turned profane, a partial change of meaning has occurred, the correlation of the text and tunes has changed. Osmoglasnik by N. Resanovic has become a new edition for English-speaking Orthodox Serbs. |
