| Based on the analysis of the research done by some Nizhni Novgorod authors, it is concluded that they have made an important contribution to the historiography of the Nizhni Novgorod Scientific Archival Commission and to the creation of historical portraits of major local historians of the late 19th century - the first third of the twentieth century. A.Ya.Sadovsky’s diary is introduced into scientific circulation, some excerpts from it are published that throw light on the first months of his presidency of the Commission. |
