The study of anthecology of 5 species of rhododendrons introduced into Cisurals testifies to their morphological and functional predisposition to cross-pollination. At the last stages of the flower functioning, some self-pollination in the form of contact autogamy is possible. Thus, in seed reproduction of rhododendrons both types of pollination are realized, and the share of each of them is likely to be connected with the influence of external factors. |
