Abstract
The results of model calculations of the spatial coherence function of a multimode signal in the vertical plane of a randomly inhomogeneous underwater sound channel are presented, which can be used for the analysis of an extended vertical antenna with the account of statistical effects of long-range signal propagation. We show the influence of the main physical factors of propagation: the signal intensity modal distribution and intermode correlation coefficients.
