Abstract
A simple model of the water dimer millimeter-wave spectrum under natural atmospheric conditions has been developed on the basis of the most accurate to date ab initio calculations and experimental data. A correspondence between the ab initio model and the experimental spectra is shown. The possibility of dimer spectrum direct observations in the Earth’s atmosphere using modern radiometers is demonstrated.
