| Uncontrolled radical polymerization of vinyl acetate has been shown to take place in the presence of tri- n -butyl boron and 2,3-dimethyl-benzoquinone. Joint polymerization of styrene with vinyl acetate under the same conditions proceeds according to the irreversible inhibition mechanism. The synthesized copolymers with a tendency to the gradient distribution of segments have an improved composition homogeneity. |
