Abstract
The effects of acute and chronic hyperthermia, low-intensive magnetic field (15 Hz, 1.5 mT) on the state of the photosynthetic apparatus of Pisum sativum L. have been investigated. The acute and chronic hyperthermia is shown to inhibit photosynthetic activity. The magnetic field does not change the rate of the Hill reaction, however, it exerts a corrective influence on the quantum yield of photosystem II and chlorophyll b content.
