| An analysis is presented of the political and legal ideas of the state unity expressed in the ancient Russian chronicles of the pre-Mongol period. It is noted that even in the period of appanage principalities the idea of unity of Rus was very important and expressed the desire of society to overcome the feudal fragmentation. |
