| Traditionally, in the study of the urban trade of the 17th century, the main type of historical sources are customs books. However, no compact set of customs documentation has survived for Kolomna, one of the closest to Moscow major urban centers of the Middle Ages and early modern times. The article considers the information potential of other types of historical sources, which can contribute to the study of a significant number of problems of economic life in a 17th-century Russian city. |
