| For the first time in Russia, filariform nematode, which belongs to the species O. cervicalis Railliet et Henry, has been found in subcutaneous nodules on patient right and left forearms. The results of determination have been confirmed by the verification. On the basis of documented cases of detection of O. cervicalis, a possibility of existence is discussed of natural nidi of onchocerciases which as well involve humans. |
