| Analyzes the way Ven. Erofeev’s poem revises the principles of “aesthetic finalization” that organize realm of culture in its entirety. The key aspect of the analysis is the issue of artistic discourse, which may become alienated from the internal existence of a person. The poem’s final scene casts doubt on the ability of such a discourse to be the driving force of evolu-tion of cultural forms. |
