| The article contains the analysis of Josef Brodsky?s reception of Gogol?s «Arabesques». Considering the poem “Gorbunov and Gorchakov” and circles “The Part of Speech” and “Twenty sonnets to Mary Stuart” the features of transformation the prosaic word of Gogol into the poetry word of Brodsky are revealed. The typology of Brodsky?s heroes is sorted with Gogol?s characters. |
