| The paper presents the discussion of works of Russian writers of last third of the XVIII century, the focus of which is the image of the historical past of Russia. The mythopoetic interpretation of images and artistic reinterpretation of historio-sophical archetypes is analyzed. This approach allows us to identify the essential features of the formation of the novel genre in the domestic literary process. |
