Specificity of Muslim media, in our opinion, is the peculiarity that the purpose of a Muslim journalist is not only satisfying the public's right to information, but also using journalism as a tool to fulfill its mission in the world and/or promoting it. Educational and humanitarian educational function of Muslim media is specifically significant by its social orientation, citizenship of a journalist, integration into the Russian journalistic community, promotion of tolerant information space and information security.
