In recent years, considerable attention has been given by scholars and practitioners in the field of civil law to various aspects of the legal regulation of compulsory insurance of vehicle owners' civil liability. Legislation of the CIS countries in this field continues to evolve and improve. In this paper, we attempt to provide a comparative analysis of some aspects of the legislation on compulsory insurance of vehicle owners' civil liability in the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Moldova and Azerbaijan.
