| In this paper, we analyze the scientific situation that renders relevant the problem of classification of historiographic sources in the emerging field of historiographic source study. To achieve the objectives of the research, we consider the reasons of formation of the subject field of the historiographic source study, research practices aimed at identifying kinds and types of historical writing and also the approaches to classification of historiographic sources. |
