This paper analyses the Saudi policy after the events of the «Arab Spring» in the Persian Gulf zone and in the Arab World, including Egypt, Syria and the neighboring states of Saudi Arabia - Iraq and Yemen. The author reviews the main directions of Saudi foreign policy towards these countries and the factors influencing its development. It is noted that the central reason, which determined the Saudi regional policy in the period from 2011 until 2014 was its confron- tation with Iran as a «strategic enemy» of Saudi Arabia in the Arab geopolitical area.
