The problem of neofascism in Stieg Larsson's novel «The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo». The ideological content of the novel involves analysis of balance and correlation between the two main problems: the cruelty of men towards women and the problem of neo-fascism. The study used the principles of biographical and sociological methods of analysis. The au-thor's concept is analyzed at the level of plot and the level of characters. We consider the image of the heroine of the novel Lisbeth Salander; characteristic of the Vagners is given in the context of neofascism. It is concluded that the authoritarian traditions still exist in Swedish society, violence is associated with S. Larsson revanchist ideas of Swedish neo-Nazis. At the same time it's noted that the author characterized by exaggeration of the negative aspects of the society and it does not offer the solution of the problem. Genre structure of the novel leads to the conclusion that the subject gives the detective novel social acuity, but is not the main subject of reflection.
