The article discusses the diversity of mediation types in different areas of practice and their reflection in the methodological arsenal of mediators. We define the criteria for distinguishing between mediation styles and reveal their relationship with methodological aspects. We also analyze the objectives set by the mediator and the resulting methodological tasks. The opportunities and the importance of the integrated use of methods of related disciplines and different styles of mediation are pointed out.
