Currently, the process of structuring radio stations in Russia has been almost completed and we can say that public radio is an independent type of radio in terms of its content. Radio as an information channel retains its relevance and credibility among the audience, despite the expansion of electronic media. In many aspects, this is determined by the format of radio as a special type of mass media. Due to its specific characteristics, radio allows one to present news information in a wider range of genres than the electronic media. A significant role is played by the use of various creative approaches when producing and structuring news stories on the radio. By studying the various techniques used in the creation of news content, it will be possible to appreciate in a new way the potential and competitiveness of radio as mass medium.
