The article presents an analysis of Samuel Clemens's journalistic letters-reports, where one can find two discourses - journalistic and literary. Within the same letter, there were actual news and fictional characters. We examine these cha- racters in order to investigate their interaction with facts and analyze their significance for subsequent Mark Twain's literary works. |
