Currently, Russia is showing its political will and awareness of the importance of its interests in the Middle East for national security. There are dozens of reputable studies of Russian scientists, politicians, diplomats exploring this issue that fully cover various aspects of Russian relations both with individual countries and the Middle East region in general. The article presents an analysis of a wide range of papers by Russian authors from various research centers and schools concerned with the Middle East studies.
