The authors present their approach to a new understanding of the science of crime, which is based on the original historical experience of scientific research into crime in general and criminal offenses as its separate manifestations. They prove the need to integrate the general fundamental ideas and theses of scientific disciplines of the anti-crime cycle into a single system of knowledge about crime and punishment, causes of crime and prevention measures, and to provide political support to the system for combating crime on the basis of a common methodology.
