The article examines some peculiarities of prosecutorial oversight, state financial control and administrative oversight over the execution of the budget legislation in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. We consider the activities of the military prosecutor in implementing the powers conferred by federal law in relation to the execution of the budget legislation. We also examine the structure of the state financial control, which was recently reformed in what concerns its implementing agencies. A separate issue also discussed in the article is the institutional control exercised by the structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense.
