Abstract
The article considers the experience of effective organization of independent student learning activities using project technology and portfolio technology in the “Foreign Language” subject. The key components of these technologies are described. A positive attitude of students to the use of project and portfolio technologies in their training is noted. The implementation of active methods in teaching allows us to instill critical thinking skills in students, increase their motivation and the quality of education.
